Gerald Stanvitch, PhD, is an experienced scientific communications leader with over a decade of expertise across immunology, rare diseases, and hematologic conditions, with a strong specialized focus in oncology. As VP of Scientific Content, he has guided cross-functional teams in developing strategic medical education, insights-generating initiatives, and disease-state training for US and global clients. Gerald brings a strong track record of thought-leader engagement, content excellence, and partnership with commercial and medical affairs teams to shape impactful scientific narratives and brand strategies. Prior to his industry roles, he earned his PhD in genetics and genomics from Boston University School of Medicine, where his research focused on chromosome structure and impact on cell division. Known for his collaborative leadership style, scientific rigor, and commitment to mentoring talent, Gerald continues to drive high-quality, scientifically grounded solutions that elevate organizational strategy and client success.
Cate serves as Vice President of Global Medical Affairs at Aptitude Health, bringing more than 24 years of scientific communications experience and deep expertise in oncology and signal transduction. She provides strategic oversight to ensure scientific accuracy and quality across all initiatives while guiding the organization and its affiliates. Cate has collaborated extensively with global clinical leaders on emerging data, publications planning, educational content development, investigator-initiated research support, academic symposia, exploratory data analyses, and the creation of scientific and patient-focused resources. She earned her BA in molecular cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her PhD in microbiology and immunology from the University of Michigan, where her research on HIV transcriptional regulation included work in a biosafety level 3 laboratory and earned her recognition as the program’s Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Instructor of the Year. A world traveler who has visited more than 40 countries, she celebrates the rich cultural diversity of her current hometown, Atlanta, while remaining a British national with strong ties to her family back in Wales.
Erin is a dedicated account services leader and has spent her entire career working in client services roles at medical communications agencies. Her expertise spans medical communications initiatives, including tactical planning, key customer engagement, business intelligence, publication planning, continuing medical education, and multichannel strategy. Erin has had the privilege of partnering with many clients throughout the years, including Amgen, Bayer, Novartis, AbbVie, and Jazz. Erin is committed to the relationships she has built with her teams, clients, and healthcare practitioners in their joint efforts to advance patient care.
Adrian has 32 years of commercial experience in the oncology space, with a focus on revenue generation and building successful teams in both medical communication and pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. Adrian joined Aptitude Health from Medallion Healthcare, an organization he founded and successfully operated over the past 9 years, after spending time in sales, marketing, and executive roles with Cardinal Health, Medical Media Holdings, Eli Lilly and Company, and Bristol Myers Squibb. Adrian brings a wealth of knowledge and connections in the oncology space to the company and has a passion for accelerating growth, expanding the Axess Network, and developing new solutions to help clients improve the lives of patients with cancer.
